Chief Executive Officer Robert Hood brings years of experience as an entrepreneur, designer and computer programmer to the 1Degree® team. As does any good entrepreneur, Robert recognizes the importance of networking and fostering business community. It is this emphasis on relationships that can be rightly viewed as the foundation of 1Degree’s approach to business.
Equally important, as the architect of 1Degree’s robust and proprietary web design and development software—1Site™—Robert is exceptionally tech savvy. He possesses extensive experience in information analysis and design strategy with expert knowledge of such leading-edge software products as UI designer, Image Ready 3+, Cold Fusion, JavaScript, HTML, ASP, and Flash 5+.
Analytical and creative, Robert is able to see patterns and determine trends in order to successfully investigate problems and devise solutions with an “outside-the-box” approach.
Further, one of the unique qualities Robert brings to 1Degree is his ability to bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical considerations that are at the heart of successful e-Commerce operations. An e-Commerce expert, Robert applies his analysis of e-Commerce trends, end-user preferences, task analysis and user-interface design to continually enhance 1Degree’s offerings to retail companies.

Renee Kappes is excited to join the 1Degree team. She was the owner of two franchise operations with as many as 30 employees. She knows first hand the workload, ups and downs, and the perseverance to simplify your business. She is an organizer, problem solver, office administrator, go-getter, get it done kind of person. We are thrilled to have such value and experience on board.
Jesse Amborn

Jesse Amborn has worked for 1Degree since the beginning of September, and is happy to be on board. Jesse is finishing his fourth and final year at the University of Washington and receiving his bachelors degree in Visual Communication Design. He is excited for this opportunity to work with 1Degree and be a part of 1Degree's astounding growth. Jesse has a passion for visualizing unique ideas and communicating them to clients.
