The brand new 0/8 Seafood Grill and Twisted Cork Wine Bar, located in the Hyatt Regency-Downtown Bellevue, is the premier high end restaurant and wine bar in Bellevue, WA. Prior to physical construction, the 0/8 began a search for a company that could connect with the vision they had for their restaurant and develop a website to match. Chief among their search criteria were cost and customization—they needed much more than a cut-and-paste template. After meeting several times with owners Matt Bomberger and Chef Dan Theissen, it became clear that the challenge would be to create a dynamic, custom, and professional website from nothing more than a few architectural elements from the restaurant. We came up with a three-phased build process, controlling up-front costs, and allowing for maximum flexibility. In the end, out of a number of different bids, they decided to go with 1Degree®. Working closely with Matt and Dan throughout the process, our design team produced a polished website environment that the 0/8 is proud to call their own. The website launched before the opening of the restaurant and was immediately labeled “perfect.” Impressed with the concern and care taken in producing their website, the 0/8 has taken the next step, and now looks to us for a majority of their design needs. To date, we have designed and managed the printing of all of the 0/8 menus and a variety of collateral pieces. The success of this project is a testament to our business model: earning trust, building relationships, and expressing a deep interest in our clients businesses. We believe the most effective way to add value is to understand our client’s needs and develop strong and lasting relationships.
